Labour promised the country that their spending plans were “fully funded” and that working people would not face higher taxes.  Just 18 months later, families are paying more and more.

Now Labour is considering a new “holiday tax” — meaning even a simple family break in Britain could cost more. Whether it’s walking in the countryside, building sandcastles on the beach, enjoying an ice cream by the sea, or taking a city break, ordinary families would be hit again.

Under these proposals, a family of four staying in this county could pay an extra £56 per week on top of the cost of their holiday
