Further to my updates on the bid last week and earlier in the summer, it is great news that confirmation has now been received from the Department for Education that they will receive over £400,000 in urgent funding.
Congratulations to Michelle Flanz and all the team at Meadowgate for their hard work in securing this essential funding, and for the amazing work they do to support pupils in such an outstanding way.
Just last June Ofsted inspected Meadowgate and once again rated it Outstanding, praising staff for their high expectations and “highly tailored curriculum to meet individual needs.” With the funding secured to address the heating system work can now begin in October.
