Whittlesey schools obtain Government funding

I’m pleased that three Whittlesey schools have gained Government funding for projects to keep school buildings safe and in good working order. The Condition Improvement Fund is giving almost £483 million to 1,199 schools across the country. Money will go to Park Lane Primary and Nursery School, Alderman Jacobs School and Sir Harry Smith Community College to be spent on a variety of projects including heating replacement, water quality improvements, structural work, and activities to ensure legislation compliance. In some cases this is urgent work that needs addressing and it’s good the schools have been successful in their bids.
