Steve is working closely with the farming community and local agriculture related businesses.  He is keen to promote locally produced Fen food and is a regular shopper at local farm shops.

Steve was the first guest to sign in at the Open Farm Sunday in Thorney, hosted by local farmer Michael Sly, which provided a showcase for food producers across the Fens and gave members of the public a chance to learn more about local farming.  (see Steve's blog for more details)

Steve recently visited McCains to discuss current business challenges for the major local employer, where he also had the opportunity to tour the plant and see first hand how the oven chips are prepared and packed. (see Steve's blog for more details)
